The perfect library… almost

The Telegraph has published a list, largely populated with British authors, of 110 best books: The perfect library, but sadly, not a single urban fantasy title made the list. There are a few titles that fringe UF, though:

CLASSICS

The Illiad and The Odyssey
Homer

Gulliver’s Travels
Jonathan Swift

POETRY

Divine Comedy
Dante

Paradise Lost
John Milton

LITERARY FICTION

One Hundred Years of Solitude
Gabriel García Márquez

Beloved
Toni Morrison

ROMANTIC FICTION

Le Morte D’Arthur
Thomas Malory

CHILDREN’S BOOKS

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
C.S. Lewis

His Dark Materials
Philip Pullman

Harry Potter
J.K. Rowling

What urban fantasy titles would you add to this ‘perfect library’?

  1. Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files and Vicki Pettersson’s Signs of the Zodiac would top the list.
    Jennifer Rardin’s Jaz Parks series.
    MJ Davidson’s Undead series.
    Kat Richardson’s Greywalker.
